The International Excellence Scholarship is awarded to high-performing international students who are seeking to study Information Technology and Computer Science at the University of Newcastle. This is a merit-based scholarship that recognizes applicants with a strong academic background and incentivizes them to continue striving to be the best that they can be.
This scholarship opportunity is worth $60,000, i.e. $15,000 in each year of study under a full-time study load.

Scholarship Eligibility Requirements
To be qualified for this scholarship application:
- Applicants must be International full-fee paying students.
- Applicants must be commencing study in an eligible undergraduate or postgraduate program at the University of Newcastle in 2022 and beyond at an Australian or online campus as indicated on your Letter of Offer.
- Applicants must have graduated from high school or have or be expected to have a relevant bachelor’s degree qualification.
- Applicants must be proficient in English language.
Application Process: Interested applicants can log in to the Application portal of the university to apply for admission. These scholarships are awarded automatically and require no separate application.
